Quick Question - Using Elemental Secondary - Guild Wars Forums

I am a R/E. I want to be able to use artifacts, idols, scrolls etc. Especially when I am under a death penalty and i'm 2 or 3 energy points shy of being able to cast my elemental AoE's. An artifact or something with + to energy would really help.

I obviously cant use them when I have my bow equipt (primary weapon). Can I use an elemental one handed stave or staff or something in one of my weapon sets, equip an artifact or idol switch over to it when and if I need to?

If I equip something in the shield spot and switch back to a 2 handed weapon does the item end up back in my pack, or does it stay there until I equip a one handed weapon?

I'm at work, so I can't try it at the moment.

Yes you can.

Yes it will end up back in your inventory, of course you can simply use multiple weapon sets.

Yes you can.

Yes it will end up back in your inventory, of course you can simply use multiple weapon sets.

Do the bonuses show up immediately? If I have 0 energy, and I switch to one of these sets, will it immediately add whatever energy is on these sets... I guess I could check this myself. Seems like many questions are answered very lazily, no offense.
